WS14644 Silicone

WS14644 silicone from ElastaPro meets the requirements of a U.S. Navy specification for electrically conductive silicone rubber compounds. These materials are available as solid silicone sheet and uncured silicone compound. Applications include EMI shielding, anti-static components, and conductive pads and seals for aerospace and aviation.

The WS14644 specification covers the following types and classes.

WS14644 Types

WS14644 silicones are divided into the following types

  • Type I: Extremely high conductivity, silver filled
  • Type II: High conductivity, nickel filled
  • Type III: High conductivity, carbon black filled.

WS14644 also contains three durometer-based classes.

  • Class 1: 45 +/- 7 Shore A
  • Class 2: 63 +/- Shore A
  • Class 3: 80 +/- Shore A
