ESS55HT: 55-Durometer High Temperature Silicone Sheeting

5 out of 5 stars

ESS55HT is 55-durometer high temperature silicone sheeting. It’s designed for applications that require higher temperature resistance then general purpose silicones provide.

This gasket material is easy to die cut, provides a superior sealing solution, and uses the latest in Heat Stabilizer Technology.

Thicknesses range from .010” to .500”. Widths up to 60” are available.

Key Characteristics

  • Resists extreme high temperatures (600ºF intermittent)
  • Resists low temperatures down to -85ºF
  • Fabricated with high-quality, certified raw materials
  • UZ / ozone resistance
  • Excellent electrical insulator
  • Cured silicone sheet is non-toxic and chemically inert
  • >750psi tensile, >90% elongation, and >70 tear (after 168 hrs. at 300ºC)

Physical Properties

  • Specific Gravity: 1.25 g/cc
  • Durometer (Shore A) 55 +/-5 Shore A
  • Tensile Strength (psi): 1050 psi
  • Elongation (%): 450
  • Tear (ppi, Die “B”): 130
